“Farthing” or “Penny/Cent” in Matthew 5:26 et al.?

"Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing." (Matthew 5:26, KJV)

The Greek for "farthing" is “κοδραντην (kodrantes),” which in Latin is “quadrans,” and means “a fourth part” (Thayer's Greek-English Lexicon). Thus, “fourthing” or “farthing” is an accurate translation.
